Buderim Gardens Retirement Village

405 Moolooba Road, Buderim Qld 4556

HOW IT WORKS

Title to the land on which Buderim Gardens Village stands is freehold. All properties are purchased by way of a Lifetime Lease. The lease is registered with the Queensland Land and Titles Office in your name.

You have the option of sharing in the capital appreciation, and because we are selling our homes at a very reasonable price, you can be assured of capital gain in years to come.

As the operator of a leasehold village we are bound to provide services, facilities and maintenance.

How it Works

Fees

Exit Fees

The Exit Fee is payable at the time of the resale of the unit. The development of a Retirement Village involves considerable capital expenditure on common facilities, a cost that is not recoverable within the price structure of the units. The Exit Fee therefore meets these costs without involving a drain on the weekly income of residents.

General Service Fee

As is the case in all retirement villages, residents contribute to the overall costs of maintaining and operating the Village. At Buderim Gardens Village these costs are apportioned to each residence on an “equal share” basis by way of a charge known as the General Services Fee.

This charge covers expenditure such as council rates, building insurance (but not contents), the upkeep of resort infrastructure (external painting and repairs) and maintaining the gardens of the common areas of the Village, the emergency call system and costs associated with the Village bus and administration.
