Our large community centre with parquetry dance floor caters for many activities including line and square dancing, tai chi and yoga classes, cards, bingo, meetings, concerts, and regular barbeques and dinners.
In the Games room and Sports bar a full size billiard table, pool tables, table tennis and indoor bowls are also available for the residents’ use. Arts and crafts groups are very popular in the Village. The active Social Club organises many social events for the residents’ enjoyment.
Doctors’ visiting rooms, library and a large tropical landscaped swimming pool with barbeque area complete our “user friendly” amenities. Buderim Gardens is fortunate in having two doctors’ consulting suites at the Village with 1 of 4 doctors visiting every day of the week. A physiotherapist visits twice a week, a podiatrist visits monthly and your pharmaceutical requirements are catered for with your scripts being picked up and delivered to your door. Queensland Ambulance Service Depot is close by for emergencies. |

SURROUNDING AREA
Opposite the entrance to the Village is the licensed Headland Bowls Club, the Headland-Buderim Croquet Club, the Sunshine Coast Bridge Club and the Sunshine Coast Arts Group and Lapidary Club. Within a few minutes drive there are two golf clubs, with many more in the area. Because of the gentle, warm, sub-tropical climate, the outdoor life can be enjoyed year round. Other activities include fishing, boating, bush walking, picnics, swimming, dining out etc etc.
Two major shopping centres are close by Maroochydore Sunshine Plaza and Kawana Shopping World and there are many other retail centres in the area. The range of shopping along the coast is first class.
