Q. What type of contract do I enter into when I buy the home?
A. When you move into your new home you sign an agreement, which gives you Lifetime lease. This is an agreement which allows the resident to reside in the home for the rest of your life. |
Q. May I have a pet?
A. Yes. Approved pets are welcome.

Q. Do I receive a title to the home?
A. Yes, you receive a lifetime lease which is registered in your name with the Queensland Titles Office. |
Q. Am I liable for any additional charges?
A. No – other than your own electricity, telephone and contents insurance.

Q. Does the weekly fee increase?
A. The weekly fee is reviewed each year and takes into consideration any increases from the Consumer Price Index and Council rate increases. This is controlled by Government legislation. |
Q. Can I sell my home?
A. Yes anytime.

Q. What are the legal costs in buying a home at Buderim Gardens?
A. The only cost to you would be $1250 to cover the Administration Registration of Lease and Survey Costs. |
Q. What happens when I die?
A. The home goes into your Estate. The Village will resell your leasehold property on your behalf within the terms of your lease.

Q. May I have guests stay with me?
A. Yes you may for up to 2 months or longer with the authority of the Scheme Operators. Grandchildren are more than welcome providing they are supervised. |
Q. Can I change the design of the homes?
A. Yes – we have a list of possible variations that can be quoted on. |
